Brush Up Those Holiday Pictures with Picnik

Want to have some fun with those holiday pictures but don’t feel like breaking out your copy of Photoshop?

Picnik is a free online photo editor (you don’t even have to register) that lets you clean up and add fun effects to photos online. The interface is pretty easy to manage and user friendly. There are plenty of point and click options available. I added the Santa hat in the picture you see here. You can also whiten your teeth, get rid of any extra shininess or blemishes…

Picnik lets you take pictures from your Facebook, Flicker or Picassa Accounts, edit them and repost them. It even keeps a history of photos you’ve uploaded so you can upload them again.

The only downside was that my Santa hat moved a bit when I saved it so I need to do it over.

You can do plenty with the free version -there is also a souped up premium version for about $25 that has even more tools to play with.
