31 Days To A Bigger Mailing List Challenge in May – Are You In?

Although I’ve been helping my clients build their lists for 5 years now,  I haven’t really ever made a serious effort to create products or grow a list of my own.  Most of my business comes from word-of-mouth referral so I haven’t had to market very much.

In 2011, my goal was to nudge my business in a new direction (while still serving clients as a online marketing manager).  I’m working on building a practice where I can give women entrepreneurs the tools they need to help more people by moving their businesses online.  The Tame the Internet Monster Community Cookbook is part of that goal – another part is to start building my e-mail list.  I’m basically starting from scratch. (so… if you are reading this and aren’t subscribed — please consider signing up…)

I was thrilled to find out that Lynn Terry of ClickNews! is challenging her peeps to build their e-mail lists by following Nicheology’s excellent free list-building guide: The 31 Day Guide to Growing Your List. The link leads you to a 75 page free download that leads you step by step through growing your list.  I downloaded the guide and discovered that while there is a lot of great information in the guide — there areas where Tame the Internet Monster can add to the conversation.

Would you like to build your list with me?  Here’s what I suggest:

1.  Let me know that you are following along (we can support each other!)

2.  Download the Nicheology Guide – The 31 Day Guide to Growing Your List

3.  Head on over to the ClickNews page and sign up for the challenge there too.  While you are there – check out Lynn’s Elite Coaching Club .  You get a lot of great support for just $27 a month.  I was a member for a while — I may rejoin for this challenge for the extra support and motivation.

Let’s build our lists together, you in?
