I would make a lousy trapeze artist…

Taking part in the Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Transformation Challenge has been a very interesting exercise so far.  I can say that I have made stellar strides in the areas of health, business and family life — the problem is that I can't seem to make strides in all three areas at the same time.

The first week of the challenge - I was all about health and exercise and managed to lose 4 lbs — but my work suffered since i was stealing away to go to NIA classes instead of doing my client work.  I did well on the business front though…

The next week - the food was a little less good (still not BAD –but not good) — but I wrote and wrote and got a lot done for my business - but my family life suffered and my husband threatened to hide my netbook.

This week, I've been doing much better on the time management and productivity front. I've made a rule that I'm off the computer between 3pm and about 8pm (when my daughter is in bed) - I work for clients between 7am and 3pm and then work on my Tame the Internet Monster business after 8.  I spend time with my daughter and we spend some time on household chores.  Crazy - -but it's been working and I'm proud to say that I'm getting more done — but my eating and exercise aren't going as well…

Why is it so hard to do all three things well at once?  What are *your* biggest balance downfalls?
