My Story on Video
Ok — I have to admit - I think video is valuable but I would *much rather* be the voice behind the screen shot than a talking head on screen. But, sometimes the face is the thing… Enjoy my video about how I got started as a VA and why I started Tame the Internet Monster.

Love your video, Meredith! What a great idea to share your story.
My story is similar to yours. A few years back, I really wanted to be available to my sons when they so needed me, and but the last corporate job I had did not allow me to have that flexibility at all.
I always loved administrative work, marketing, project management, computer stuff, and systems/procedures. So being a virtual assistant is allowing me to enjoy doing what I love *and* to have that flexibility that I so wanted. Oh, I'm also discovering that I'm much more entrepreneurial than I used to think. It's been an exciting journey for sure.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new programs that you will be creating for VAs. I know they will be great!
Meredith, this is a great video and a thanks for sharing your story.
I decided to become a VA because I wanted a new challenge in my life and I was dowsized out of my job. And I knew that I wanted to continue to help people. I have always had a passion for helping others.
I suggest to anyone wanting to become a VA, if you have a true entrpreneutial spirit to go for it. Stay on top the business through researching, training, providing the best service possible. And when your clients succeed, you will too. Win-win for both.
