Guest Post: Overcome Tweeter's Block - Ten Tweets for Fun and Profit
I am thrilled to welcome one of my favorite clients Molly Gordon to Tame the Internet Monster! Molly is trolling around the Internet visiting blogs, answering questions and promoting her fabulous event - the Self Employment Telesummit. The Self Employment Telesummit brings together some top-notch successful teachers to help you build your business and have a life. Go on over and look at the faculty list… The platinum package also includes two weeks of coaching (with daily check-ins), and a mastermind forum. If you are looking for a revved up new start to the new (school) year. This is it. (disclaimer: Molly is my client and I have been helping her with this event — the more preview calls I listen to the more excited I get…)
Enough of the commercial announcements — here is Molly's post:
Once upon a time I considered Twitter a black hole where perfectly good time disappeared. Now I am a convert, happy to dip a virtual toe into the cyber-river of tweets a few times a day.
I thought that, rather than explaining why I like Twitter, I would show you ten ways I use it for fun and profit.
Ten Tweets for Fun and Profit.
Note to Sabrina: each item has a matching screenshot as listed below.
Tweet updates to your blog.

Tweet reminders of impending deadlines

Tweet invitations to free teleclasses

Tweet to give context to other tweets

Tweet to help a friend

Tweet to share useful information (insert news.png)

Tweet just for fun

Tweet for accountability

Tweet encouragement or congratulations

Each of these tweets took just moments to send and satisfied a personal or business need, or both. Once you get the hang of this form of communication, it really is fun and effective.
